Musbik Industry is a ISO 9001-2015 Aluminium Non-Ferrous alloy Foundry specialized in Aluminum and Zink Alloy Castings by Gravity Die Castings (GDC) process also known as Permanent Mould Castings.
Having in house Capacity for designing and Development of Gravity dies. Musbik Industry intend to give complete solution to industries requirement of Aluminum, and Zink alloy castings. We offer designing,and manufacturing of required Dies, producing castings and machining them as per requirement. Our Gravity Die Casting foundry is located in the MIDC Bhosari-Pune prime location near old Mumbai- Pune highway well connected by Road, Railway and Air with Mumbai The Commercial Capital of India.
To produce castings we have one oil fired melting furnace and one electric melting cum holding furnace to melt 1000 KG Aluminum per Day. We are well supported vendors having facilities of VMC,CNC machining ,CNC Wirecut, Spark erosion (EDM), Jig boring and Gauge Lab.
‘Gravity Die Casting Process’ also known as ‘Permanent Mould Process’ is suitable for medium to large size batch production. Even a small lot of 50-60 castings can be cast economically by this process. It is superior in ‘geometrical accuracies’ and ‘aesthetic appearance’ to ‘Sand Casting Process’. GDC process can handle more variety of Aluminium alloys (heat treatable), than Pressure Die Casting (PDC). Some times even ‘sand cores required for complex shapes’ can be used in this process, which in not possible in PDC. Cost of the dies for GDC can be 35-40% of PDC. Medium size castings (weighing 8-10 Kg.) can be cast easily.
We can reduced weights by 25-30% by converting Sand Cast components to GDC process. This was achieved by reengineering the component design, by reducing wall thickness, eliminating or reducing machining allowances. Castings produced by GDC process are 30-40% stronger (tensile / hardness) than Sand cast Components.
We can prepare detailed drawing from samples. Modify or re-engineering of present castings to reduce weight or to improve mechanical strength. We have converted many Sand Castings to Gravity Die Castings and reduce Weight up to 30%. Open tolerance machining can be eliminated and machining allowance can be reduced.
